There are some true horror stories out there about building a house, our experience was simply the opposite. We had originally brought a design to the Hendrens which we loved. Not knowing much about construction costs, we learnt that it was out of our budget. Hendren Homes worked with us to create a plan which incorporated a similar floor plan and many design elements but was also financially affordable. Throughout the entire building process Ryan and Tana were always straight forward, accommodating, very patient and always willing to answer our many questions along the way. We truly felt that they had our best interests in mind and cared that we were happy with our build.
We were very impressed with the workmanship and attention to detail that went into making our home well built while maintaining the character we hoped for. Thank you for making our dream a reality.

We are halfway through our build process with Hendren Homes, however at this point we wanted to express our experience for anyone else interested in building with Hendren Homes. We first contacted Hendren Homes in October 2019, after we toured several homes for sale. We were not happy with any of the houses we looked and then were recommended building with Hendren Homes(came highly recommended). At the time we were not considering building due to the stories we had heard about the time commitment and stress it involves. I will also mention, when I first reached out to Hendren, we had a 2 month old and a 2 year old. I don’t know maybe I am a sucker for punishment! However right from our initial interaction I could not believe how easy and stress free the whole process was. Ryan or Tana Hendren were always quick to respond to my emails (which I will admit I had a lot of questions). Once things progressed from emails to in person meetings, they both made it easy for us with our 2 kids and made us feel right at home. They understood our needs and molded our house and build process around what best suited us. As mentioned, we are currently mid-way through our build and I have not felt stressed or overwhelmed at all. As part of the build, a list is provided with contacts to speak with in regards to interior and exterior finishing’s. Part of the process is to meet with a designer from Oakbank Flooring who is fabulous and who easily walks you through all the finishing details. I have nothing but good things to say about all their other contacts such as cabinet makers, etc. As far as the workmanship and quality goes, I would suggest Hendren Homes is definitely up there with the best. Hendren Homes are built to last and definitely impress. Words do not describe the excitement we have to complete the build and move into our forever home.

Before building we spent a lot of time looking at show homes and meeting with builders. When we met with Tana and Ryan there were no doubts in our mind that they were the builders we should use. They listened to all our wishes and helped us to plan the perfect house on our budget. It was important to us to use someone that valued quality and this is exactly what we got. Care and attention was put into making sure that our home was perfect. All my questions and concerns were addressed immediately.
